On major construction projects in historic urban areas, monitoring is not just about installing sensors and preparing reports.
It is about creating a reliable basis for decision-making throughout the entire construction process.
On a recent project in Gdańsk, we were responsible for condition surveys, photographic documentation, developing the monitoring programme, as well as continuous vibration monitoring and assessment of the impact on the surrounding buildings 📊
The monitoring ran from January 2023 to March 2025.
More than two years of measurements, analyses, and ongoing support for the project’s decision-making processes.
But what we value most is not the number of sensors or reports.
It is the trust of the people we work with.
As the project manager summed up our collaboration:
