Noise calculation is a 3D-based assessment of how noise from, for example, industrial activities, construction sites, or infrastructure projects propagates in the surrounding environment.
When does it make sense to use noise measurement/monitoring?
👉 For industrial noise, it is often used in connection with environmental approvals, changes to permit conditions, complaint cases, and enforcement notices – where noise must be assessed for daytime, evening, and nighttime periods.
👉 For construction and civil engineering projects, it supports the planning of phases, selection of equipment, and assessment of permit requirements. At the same time, it enables targeted mitigation measures where they have the greatest effect.
